Service Description
This is a hands-on rope splicing class focused on techniques used in the lobster fishery. We’ll cover the most common and practical splices used on working gear, including eye splices and short splices in three-strand rope. You’ll be working with real rope and tools, not just watching. I’ll walk you through each step and make sure you leave knowing how to do it yourself. This is geared toward fishermen, deckhands, or anyone looking to learn useful rope skills. No prior experience needed. All materials are provided.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & No-Show Policy Cancellations: Cancellations made 7 or more days before the class will receive a full refund (or credit toward a future class). Cancellations made 3–6 days before the class will receive a 50% refund (or full credit toward a future class). Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class are non-refundable. No-Shows: If you do not attend the class without notice, the fee is non-refundable. Rescheduling: If space allows, you may request to transfer your registration to a future class once at no additional cost (must be requested at least 48 hours before your original class). Minimum Enrollment: Classes require a minimum number of students. If a class is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future class.
