Course 2 – Beyond the Basics
3-Strand & Double Braid Splicing
Service Description
Build on your splicing foundation with more advanced techniques and rope types. Students will practice: Long Splice (3-strand) – join two ropes while maintaining diameter for running through blocks. Double Braid Eye Splice – essential for modern marine and rigging applications. Discussion of rope materials (nylon, polyester, polypropylene) and their uses. Who It’s For: Students who completed Course 1 or those with some splicing experience.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & No-Show Policy Cancellations: Cancellations made 7 or more days before the class will receive a full refund (or credit toward a future class). Cancellations made 3–6 days before the class will receive a 50% refund (or full credit toward a future class). Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class are non-refundable. No-Shows: If you do not attend the class without notice, the fee is non-refundable. Rescheduling: If space allows, you may request to transfer your registration to a future class once at no additional cost (must be requested at least 48 hours before your original class). Minimum Enrollment: Classes require a minimum number of students. If a class is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future class.
