Service Description
Discover the art and science of rope splicing in this 2-hour hands-on workshop. We’ll explore why a splice is often stronger and more reliable than a knot, and when to use each in real-world applications. Students will learn and practice the three essential 3-strand splices: Eye Splice – create a secure permanent loop in rope. Back Splice – finish rope ends neatly to prevent unraveling. End-to-End Splice (Short Splice) – join two pieces of rope with strength and durability. No prior experience is necessary—this class is perfect for boaters, fishermen, DIYers, or anyone curious about working with rope. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with new skills you can put to use right away.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy Cancellations: Cancellations made 7 or more days before the class will receive a full refund (or credit toward a future class). Cancellations made 3–6 days before the class will receive a 50% refund (or full credit toward a future class). Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class are non-refundable. No-Shows: If you do not attend the class without notice, the fee is non-refundable. Rescheduling: If space allows, you may request to transfer your registration to a future class once at no additional cost (must be requested at least 48 hours before your original class). Minimum Enrollment: Classes require a minimum number of students. If a class is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future class.
