The recent project, Lobster Buoy Markings, aims to provide lobstermen with the tools they need to comply with state regulations for marking their vertical buoy lines. Made of Polypropylene rope, these buoy markers make it easy to adhere to the required color markings and swap them when moving gear between state and federal waters. By following these regulations, lobstermen help to identify the location of whale entanglement incidents, ultimately contributing to the protection and conservation of marine wildlife.
